Before setting up your Microsoft 365® Tenant, one critical decision awaits: picking a tenant name. This name isn't just a label—it'll feature prominently in the URLs of various Microsoft® applications, like SharePoint®.
Example: If you name your tenant "MyBusiness", your SharePoint® Online URL will be: MyBusiness.SharePoint.com.
Important: Once chosen, your tenant name is permanent. Make sure to select a name thoughtfully to avoid future regrets.
